Looking for Fresh Edamame before the festival? Jambican Studio Gardens also sells Edamame and other delicious produce every Saturday at the Main Street farmers Market. They will be there every Saturday. Edamame is expected to be available on Saturday, September 6th and 13th.

In the land of Japanese folklore, Kitsune fox are renowned for their shape-shifting abilities, their many tails, and the mischief they create. What adventure will this Kitsune go on, and who will she meet? Transporting the whole family through storytelling, circus, and puppetry, this show is an exploration of the rich land that is Japanese folk tales, deities, and superstitions.
Kitsune is an all-ages circus and puppet show that explores the rich world of Japanese folklore. Have you heard of the Kitsune? There are many stories of this famous shape shifting fox, and this performance tells one like no other. A show that is full of grace and surprise, laughter and learning. Follow the mysterious Kitsune fox as she brews up some mischief. Known as being tricksters, or lovers, or even posing as royalty, the lore of the Kitsune has us asking ‘what in life is actually not as it seems?’.

Takane Kochihira is on tour from Okinawa itself, while Sho Takashima is from Okinawa but based in Montreal. They will be collaborating together for the show and will play in Montreal the night before, and Toronto the night after. It’s a whirlwind tour!
